The Cosmetic Practice was established in 2003 with the aim to offer specialised cosmetic treatments, cosmetic surgery and professional skincare products. The company is headed by Carole Cook, RN, MBA, who trained in Harley Street, London, before setting up The Cosmetic Practice. Hi I'm Carole Cook a qualified nurse with am MBA qualification. I am a full member of the nursing and midwifery council and the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses. I have had a wide and varied background in nursing, from working in specialised hospital units to covering medical insurance for Jimmy Nail in the TV movie Spender!

In 1999 I won a scholarship from the European Women into Management Programme to study for an MBA and successfully completed the mba within 1 year. I then branched out into the world of cosmetic surgery, training in Harley Street and running a highly successful clinic in Newcastle.

It was there that I began to think about opening my own business with my own specialist interest at the heart and that is SKIN, from ageing, to acne, pigmentation, sun damage and many other skin conditions.
Many of my clients told me they had no idea what skincare to use on their skin, so in 2003 I began to look into cosmecuticals and started using Neostrata. The results were excellent. I now have an internet website for people who care about their skin and want the best skincare available to make a real difference

So here we are, at the start of our worldwide skincare advice and shopping experience, yes the web has made all this possible, hurrah!
